For this room, I used seagrass wallcovering, white
hardwoods, topped with a jute rug, and a plastered ceiling. A boxcushion slipcovered sofa, and
upholstered armchair offer comfortable seating. Lighting is provided by both a beaded
chandelier, and lamps. Additional
furnishings are a whitewashed coffee table with zinc top, a distressed cream
console table, and end tables. The
colorful wall art offers a pop of color, balanced by the fringed throw. The sofa is softened by fringed throw
pillows.
